I have been painting for about 16 years; but also enjoyed painting and sketching as a child and teenager. I enjoy trying a variety of mediums including acrylic, water coulors, oil, mixed medium, pen and ink, coloured pencil and photography.
My favourite subjects are country landscapes, animals, birds, flowers and have also done several portraits.
I have been inspired by the impressionistic movement and initially did several copies of paintings by Monet and Manet. I have draw on ideas I have seen in my travels to other countries.
