I am one of the two original founding members of The Redwater Art Society, Jeannie Hare is the other. We were first known as the Athabasca Landing Trail Art Club. I have been a recipient of the Lillian Nunn Scholarship, Juror's Choice Award and have a painting in the ACACA permanent collection. My first choice of medium is oil, but I also use watercolor, wax resist and acrylic's. I have been painting since 1963 when Professor Harry Wolfarth came by bus to Redwater to teach us in the use of egg tempra and oil. He presented the Lillian Nunn Scholarship to me at the Department of Art Extension at the U of A. I have served 12 terms as President of the Redwater art Society.
