I was born and raised in England and art came naturally to me. My childhood was largely spent outdoors roaming the countryside where my observations turned into drawings on the rainy days. When I was 13 I began mountain climbing which opened up another palette. As the same time, a new art teacher held classes in pen and ink, which became a passion for me. A complex and busy life left me only brief moments to sketch again. Now, life has quietened and with the encouragement of others, I can now pursue art with more time and intention.
